Student Internships
Global Food Systems Institute (GFSI) helps you get there! We support faculty, staff, students, and Extension professionals to engage in international work including teaching, research, and outreach to strengthen human capacity for effective food systems, primarily in the Global South. We assist with project development, identification of funding opportunities, developing multidisciplinary teams, and logistical support for international activities.
Thank you for your interest in GFSI. We are committed to student development and professional opportunities that allows for career awareness in global food systems. We welcome student interns to work with staff and faculty to support our mission areas.
Internships are an important part of the college experience as they provide real-world work experience in a professional setting to help students grow their communication and technical skills. Internships can be one or two semesters and are typically unpaid. Some opportunities may lead to paid work if funding is available.
