Adam Watson
Assistant Professor, Agricultural and Biological Engineering
Dr. Adam Watson earned his B.S. in 2010, his M.S. in 2012, and his Ph.D. in 2016 from the University of Florida. As an economist, his research focuses on local and regional food systems in the areas of procurement, distribution, marketing, and consumer behavior. The goal of his program is to strengthen local economies, reduce food waste, and improve food access and security. He teaches food and agricultural courses to undergraduate and graduate students including AOM4060/6061: Agri-food Systems Innovation (Spring) and AOM4455: Agricultural Operations and Systems (Spring).
