How to use our Courses Dashboard?
This dashboard helps users explore food systems related courses offered across UF/IFAS and by GFSI-affiliated faculty. You can filter by department, browse course descriptions, and access catalog links to learn more.
- View the Total Number of Courses
At the top of the dashboard, you can see the total number of courses currently available.
- Filter Courses by Department
Use the Department filter on the right side to explore courses offered by a specific academic unit. Selecting a department will update the course list automatically. Note that some departments may offer the same course in multiple semesters.
- Browse the Course Table
Scroll through the course table to view key information for each course, including:
- Department
- Course Title
- Course Code
- Grading Scheme
- Prerequisite/Corequisite
- Description
- Credits
- Catalog Link
This allows users to quickly understand what each course covers and who teaches it.
- Read Full Course Descriptions
The full description text for each course can be viewed by scrolling horizontally and vertically within the table. This section provides details on course content, structure, and learning outcomes.
- Access Course Catalog Links
Each course includes a Catalog Link that directs users to the UF website, where they can view up-to-date information about enrollment, semesters offered, and instructor details.
- Semester Availability
The dashboard currently displays 53 courses, but availability may vary depending on the semester.
